Simply the Best--Day 5

Yesterday I talked about the bands I liked BEST last year, so today I'm going to share the BEST song that touched and challenged me the most.
How He Loves was originally written by John Mark MacMillan quite some time ago. Last year the David Crowder Band recorded it on their Church Music album. Such a powerful reminder of how our Savior loves us...
How He Loves
[Emphasis mine]
He is jealous for me, Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realize just how beautiful You are,
And how great Your affections are for me.

And oh, how He loves us oh,
Oh how He loves us,
How He loves us all

He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves.

And we are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes,
If his grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.
And heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss,
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest,
I don’t have time to maintain these regrets,
When I think about, the way…

That He loves us,

Oh how He loves us...
Oh how He loves.

You can listen and watch the video here. I highly recommend it.

I agree! This is the best video that I have seen in some time, yet it is so basic. I have watched it 20-30 times and I still get chills when they get so excited about how much he loves us! The JMM version that I showed in sunday school last year is no longer on youtube. It was great in that he tells the story behind the song (and he is crying, so I like it... :))...
